Pastor Matthews' goal is to deliver Christ-centered messages so that the listeners can "Go Home A Different Way Than When They Came In" as he likes to put it. Since coming to Faith in 2019, Pastor Matthews' Church Mission for Faith MBC has been to "Bridge The Gap Between Christ and The Community".  With this in mind, Faith Missionary Baptist Church focuses on sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through building community relationships, by finding ways to serve the community and make Christian disciples in accordance with Christ's Great Commission (MATTHEW 28:19,20

"Go, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.").
